Saddleworld began in 1986 and is now a strong group of forty eight independently owned retail stores specialising in saddlery & associated equestrian products.
Saddleworld’s head office and warehouse is situated in Bendigo, Victoria and services its stores by sourcing products from Australia and around the world as well as offering many support services, such as accounting and marketing.
Saddleworld has a strong affiliation with manufacturers of some of the world’s best equestrian products such as, Kieffer, Pessoa, Trainers, and Professional’s Choice and has spent many years developing its house brands, Grainge and Eurohunter, as well as stocking many other household names.
Amongst Saddleworld store owners there are many accredited Saddle fitters and many who are personally involved in the equestrian community through riding, competing, training, coaching or as ‘horsey’ parents.
Saddleworld also sponsors many events and organizations such as, The Saddleworld Dressage Festival, The Australian Youth Showjumping Festival and The Pony Club Association of Victoria and riders including Gill Rolton, Steve Jefferys, Judy Dierks, Mary Hanna, Megan Jones, Di Jenkyn, Sue-Ellen Lovett, Shane Davidson and Kim Cameron.
In celebration of turning 20, Saddleworld is re-inventing itself with a new corporate logo and many internal changes which will ensure it continues to keep abreast of new opportunities and is able to offer the best possible support & services to the equestrian community.
